Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tsp margarine
  • 4 tsp Marmite™
  • 4 slices wholemeal bread

Method

  1. Fill a pot with enough water to cover the eggs. Place the whole eggs into the water. Bring the water to a boil, then time it for exactly 1 minute.
  2. Toast bread, spread with margarine then Marmite™ and cut into fingers. Place eggs in egg cups and cut 1 cm down from the top. Serve warm eggs with warm Marmite™ soldiers.

Our Tips

  • Serve fresh steamed asparagus spears with the toast and egg.
  • For firmer yolks, leave the eggs in water for an extra minute.
